Has any one had problems with the rear infinity speakers? I just bought this truck and they sound muffeled, and at 2/3ed's less volume than the front. Is there a way to test them?

ike,

Mine is like that also. I don't think mine are the speakers. I still have the horrendous stock radio and I think the equalizer in it is the problem.

Mine sounded bad too. :( Changed the stock stereo for a Pioneer, they still sounded bad. :{ Pulled them out and installed some "real" Infinity speakers, now we're getting somewhere. Oo. Oo. Infinity should be ashamed to put their name on the stock garbage .

I'm with Cigar John. Yank those stock Infinity speakers out and put some real ones in. I chose JL Audio VR600Csi w/ an Alpine amp to run ALL door speakers and it's a huge improvement, even with the stock head unit. If you like the bass to hit real hard like I do, then add a Stealthbox under the center seat w/ a remote so you can turn it down when wifey's in the truck. :D

I only wish I made this upgrade ALOT sooner.

Cheers,

Dave
