MrD - Thanks
Sitting here watching the Cotton Bowl and wondering if I might just keep the factory speakers now...
Yesterday afternoon I put in one of the new 6. 5's in the back to compare w/ the factory on the other side.
This was just a comparison of the rear 6. 5's; but I think I liked the sound of the factory better - wife liked the sound of the new better.
Factory sounded fuller, new a little clearer, but I thought was 'tinney' (word?).
Here's a link for the aftermarket Blaupunkt's:

The 6x9 on the drivers side seems fine now, was popping in and out previously.
Thoughts?
I've always been under the impression that poly cones are better them paper; is this true?
Or, do paper cones have any certain advantage over poly? Sound?
With the new head unit it's amazing the sound difference already.
