I am running just the "EZ" box w/banjo bolts--NO other power enhancments. Trans had VB upgrade, line preasure turned up. Lasted exactly 3 years, and 37,000 before it went totally out to the tune of $3200 for a reman-transmission from Mopar. Now this one is totally stock and I am driving it like I stole it every day. I will toast this one too before the warranty is out.

Do Not Add DD2's Or Anything Else Or You Will BLOW The Trans!!

Hohn, even at full tilt on the EZ, that HP level should be ok with a stock clutch.

Keith,

I guess my stock clutch must be a 90 pound weakling ;) even though it never slipped towing our 13,500 lb 5th wheel (21,180 lbs GCW versus 21,500 lbs GCWR). The weekend we added the DD2's, it would slip at 1900 RPM in 5th or 6th gear with the truck empty - thus, the Con OFE in my signature. It appears that the DD2's plus the EZ must be right on the borderline for the stock ETH clutches - at least based on my experience.

Hey Keith, For a guy that drives 120 miles per day, would Supermentals be ok?? Or would you recommend 3s?? I have a PM 3, so I could always just turn it off if it were too much. I'd like to be around 475-500 hp before next summer, when I buy a set of DD injectors, I want it to be the only set I ever need to buy. I have a set of EDM injectors, have no clue what stage they are, but they are not hot enough for me :D. Any advice is greatly appreciated Keith.

Peace,

Willie

Great, my original must have been a 45 pounder. It started to slip after a 1 1/2 years with just the EZ on Level 3. But at least that was my signal to put in the new clutch and continue the bombing path. :D
