What is the advantage to adding these hubs? I would assume less wear on the front axle assembly, but is there a significant increase in fuel mileage to justify this investment? Also what would installation cost? DW
If you have a late 02 with out CAD i would install the hubs. I put them on my 02 mainly so I could use 4 low on pavement when loaded. I did see a increase in mileage although not significant. The other beni is the bearings are serviceable.
I bought the Dynatrac. The reason for this, is their reputation and quality. I have installed the driver side and waiting on an 02 axle from the dealership in order to do the passenger side. I need to take pictures of the passenger side when I get the new axle. I have taken pictures and need more then plan to post when the film is developed. There is also a kit from SolidAxle called the Spintec. It has both forged chromoly spindle and hub, were as the Dynatrac only has the forged chromoly spindles the hub is cast. If I would have known about the Spintec from SolidAxle, I might have bought their kit.
