I don't have any first hand experience with their Dodge lifts, but I did have one on my '98 Jeep TJ and it was great quality and trouble free. I would definitely recommend them. I called before I bought and everyone I talked with was very knowledgable, personal, and courteous. They also have a great warranty, similar to BDS Supsensions.

there good kits, but they still use the factory coilbuckets to mount the coilovers. theres not enough room to get a good enough travel shock in there. everything else is awsome in the kit. my suggestion is to get everything in the kit except the coilovers and mounts for them. cut off the coil spring buckets, and fab some upper shock brackets and throw some kings or foxs. you will have more adjustability and a better ride that way. plus it looks cooler

Don't some of their kits use their coil over shocks?

yes they do have coilover kits and mount them like spirson does, to the existing coil buckets. thats why im not a big fan of the kits, you just cant get enough shock and travel to make it worth your wild. spirsons 6-8 kit will be priced around $4000. as for kore, i think your just getting expensive coils and shocks. i have purchased carli suspensions mega system and let me tell you the ride cant be beat. ive ridden in kore equipped trucks and they dont compare to mine, even the unlimeted which is priced 3000 more then carlis. ride in some trucks equipped with different manufactures and you will see what im talking about. here comes the kore battles

it depends on what you want to do with truck, they have various kits and will build something to suit your needs. www.defianttruckproducts.com

Too bad even the "Starter" system is way over priced... :( Onsale for $1250 !!!! Now I have been in the off road scene for 15+ years and $1250 for 2 coil springs, some fancy add-a-leaves, and 4 OK shocks is close to double what a reasonable price is for that type of system.

like i said its all in what you plan to do with the truck. if you want it to look cool going down the road with some big meats, then a standard superlift or skyjacker type suspension will be fine. but when you need to mob your truck down bumby whopped out roads at 70 carli can do that for ya

I'm well aware of the differences between quality suspension systems and cheap lift kits. Superlift and Skyjacker are usually on the low end of the spectrum in the off road areas I participate in on a regular basis (i. e. rockcrawling and the like). To put things in perspective, a top of the line "long arm" kit for a 97-06 Jeep Wrangler with completely custom control arms (4 link type setups), mounting brackets, new coil springs all around, brake lines, etc. can be had for about $2500. There are some additional things needed like driveline mods, but you pretty much have all the hard parts for that type of coin. It's really just a matter that the "starter" system should be no more than $800 out the door and that's on the high side. Too bad, as I'd like to do something with my truck and run some slightly larger tires.

There is a big difference in the weight of a jeep and these 2500's.

The shocks that are used with these kits have different valving, most of this valving has been done with real world field testing. This testing has to be worth something, right.

I too would agree that the 3 big's on the Dodge suspension scene are way over priced. I suppose the ride is better then that of a lower end system, but that doesn't mean they have to be unreasonable in their pricing. Sure this is my opinion, but someone please substantiate the kits that are $5000 and above.

I have a Skyjacker 5" and love the ride, handling, and look. Would I take a KORE, Carli, or Lorenz system? You bet, but for the price I paid for the Skyjacker, I can't complain. And, I don't plan on running the Baja 1000 anytime soon, so it works for me.

You know I had the same thought-wow thats expensive, so I purchased a 4 inch superlift system. Well, after the first trip I had a bent axle that cost me a pretty penny, so I spent twice as much because I thought it should be enough, well it wasnt so I spent the extra bucks putting quality suspension on the truck and all is well now no matter how hard I wheel it. Lesson learned(the hard way)

You bent an axle? Wow... . because of the Superlift??? How did that work???
When you only have 2 inches of travel before it hits the bumpstops it tortures the axle housing cause your constantly baggin it, just going over small bumps at medium speed would hammer my trucks front end and this is with the upgraded bilstien shocks that came with the so called 4 inch lift kit, that limits your travel with huge poly bumpstops. They do that for a reason which I am sure someone with more knowledge can explain.
