Ok. Well i hear a lot about the 48re. It seems not too many people have an 03 47re... If so i would love to here about it!!!!!! I have a 2003 2500 reg cab 4x4 Standard output with the 47re auto. I have 83,000miles on the truck. I would like to add the Banks High-Ram and the Banks Bullet. The Banks Bullet has change on the fly power levels, stock,tow,sport. Up to 60 more hp and 112 lb ft tq. I would get it with the temp limiting safety. I would like honest almost 100% sure answers as to if that would hurt my truck. I dont have the money for a new transmission or much other parts for that matter. So i wanted to ask you guys to make sure i dont do something stupid!!!!!

Most guys on here will say that Banks products don't make enough power to hurt a vehicle... I have no experience with Banks... You might want to search... There are not to many guys on here that use Banks stuff. . Wes

Mostly a transmission question i guess. 47re doesnt seem to be that tough.

I've got 130K on my slightly-modded truck. I pull 8000# about once a month with no transmission issues as of yet. Only when I go to the higher box settings do I get some vibration/shutter. However, I've been considering a vb/tc upgrade.
