I do not know if this is the right forum, but I

wanted to tell everyone that my daugter changed a set of injectors on my friends truck last night useing DD instructions.

I had to help her brake some of the bolts loose for her,but

besides that she did it all from start to finish.

I would like to here from all members what there kids or family has done on there truck:D :D :D

My 7 year old son, while playing Han Solo with a garden hoe (while I was working on the tractor) smacked the left rear quarter panel just below the taillight!!!! Still the only ding on the truck!!!!:(

My 18 yr old daughter is taking diesel engine mechanics class at vo-tech along with her other classes at highschool. She's a little petite gal with an interest in diesel engines!:D

Hmm, something tells me I live in the wrong area... I graduated HS last year, and there were NO GIRLS in my school that would want to be seen with dirty hands, let alone the smell of diesel...

I personaly have done a set of injectors, fuel line kit, helped with many exhaust (can't weld yet) and many ford chips. Next year am planning on taking a vocational class through my high school.

All my kids have done was clean out the ducts from the cab climate controll vents, but what do you expect from a couple of ferrets:D :D :D

rear diff

My 8 year old son help put on a new Mag-Hytec cover, used the torque wrench and put the fluid in. He also helps fish wires and clean leather upholstry. Hopefully my 6 year old girl will start learning soon. The more girls learn, the less they will get ripped off when they own a car or "truck".

My lady just cleaned her melted chewing gun out of the door handle thing, I was impressed.

She made up for it by saying the turbo whine makes her horny!

I'm still working on her, but my girlfriend is actually open to the notion of learning not only how to drive stick, but a rather LARGE vehicle at the same time. When she agreed to give it a try sometime this spring, you can imagine how happy I was, :D until I realized that if she likes it too much, I'll be riding shotgun whenever we go somewhere

It nice to see that us young'uns (I'm 18) are being started in the hobby (obsession?) of diesel power, and especially the mighty Cummins. :D

"She made up for it by saying the turbo whine makes her horny!" - well, I'm still waiting for that one to come up in conversation ;)

Been there...done that.

My girlfriend is too short to depress the clutch all the way, so she REALLY has to pay attention to what she is doing.

I have owned my truck for 15 months and 17 days, and she has tried to drive it three times... none of which resulted well. She still wants to learn, so I'll probably give it another shot this summer.

I'm 22, and she's already complaining that I spend too much time in the shop with my truck, and not enough time (read: MONEY) on her. No, she's really pretty good, got me a 3K GSK for my last birthday! (Once she saw how small the package was, she was PI$$ED!)

Go ahead, won't be the first time. :{ :-{}

I was referring to the small PLASTIC BAG containing Pier's secret governor springs.

Her: What are those for?

Me: Uhhhh... . my truck?

Her: Oh, where did you get them?

Me: Actually... . you bought them for me for my birthday?

Her: No really, where did you get them?

Me: Remember when you asked what I wanted for my birthday more than anything else?

Her: Yeah... you aren't serious are you? Those are just springs! I could've gone to the hardware store and bought you some for a helluva lot less than $160! I was expecting some big a$$ package!

Me: It's ok, honey, this is what they are supposed to look like. It's good stuff, trust me.

Her: I suppose you're gonna spend all night out in the shop making love to your truck now?

Me:
