Hase any one used 300Hp Lucas Marine injecters. What was the good and bad side.
I am runing a xp-40 terbo and 4"back exost.
Bost is at 34lb unloded. Still have stock injecters with pump tweeked all the way. wood like to turn the pump down to give it a little more life. Not trying to make a race truck but wont to pull a 14000 traler and have the truck pull well. I live in the sierras and we have some good little rooling
hills to pull.

I also am looking for any info about these injectors as I have a set on order. I have been lead to believe that they are the ones to use if you have a pre 91 (CPL 0804) engine. I also have an 89 and have done as much as I can with the pump and stock injectors, however am looking to take some unnecessary load off of my pump. If they work well for me, I will also order another set and install in my father-in-law's pre 91. Thanks, John Krmpotic

I know you are looking replies form others, but it seems to be quiet out there. These injectors are THE ones to have in the 'OL... der trucks especially if the are BLUE.

=Don+ Finley found out what was bothering me by reading the threads. We have two first
generation trucks that we are working with.
If I an right the power wagon injecters do
not work well on the non intercoled moter but
Do work well on the intercooled moter. Now if we put the Power Wagon injecters on an intercooled stock moter we will have good hp. ganes. If we put the new 300hp on a moter
that has allerady bintweeked we have vary impresive gains. As you said 4th gear spin or is this just with 98 to 91. 5 with the late model heads.

I do not understand your question. but I can say in any application, intercooled or nonintercooled, old head or new head, tweaked or stock, these injectors give more power than the Power Wagons.
 
Old School= I an new to this form= But have worked on heavy equipment all my life.
Do you have any coments on the the Lucas=300hp=marine injecters. One of your coments that I read was for larger injecters to get the fuil charge into the cylinders faster to get better burn and closer timeing. Was this the thread of what you were saying, or was it to drop the pump presure with the same volume of fuil, for better pump life.

Don =I was refuring to the power wagen in the early furst gen to the PW in the Late first Gen.
Also the new injecter to the PW injecter in the late Furst gen. Also do they drop compretion in the later FG trucks so they will hold to geather with higher bost.
Also when I get the injecters in will I have to change timing to optonize the injecter. Or just back of the pump.
You must be a night oul to.
 
I will be in good shape then as my truck is 2 tone BLUE.
