I am a TDR member and Dodge Diesel Technician. On page 49 of issue #42 you state to make sure the number on the old keyway
must be the same as the new keyway. INCORRECT.
Old to new number doesn't matter. What DOES matter is the keyway # matches the 3 diget number on the injection pump. These numbers must match, also the arrow on the keyway points to the pump. Shouldn't he have retorqued the injection pump to gear nut before putting on the filler elbow?
