My injection pump is leaking from it looks like a rubber vent tube on the drivers side of the pump? What do i need to do to fix it? The injection pump has about 40,000 miles on it it was reman from cummins.
I had the same leak and had to reseal. You should search this forum with "ve pump leak" or "injector pump leak", you get the idea. Any way you go, it's a pull and reseal deal.
do i need to remove the injection pump? If so who can i send it to in Southern California area for re-sealing? I am Hoping there is a decent injection repair company around that is bosch certified?
I removed mine for a complete reseal. I think the one leak may be able to be fixed on the truck, but other leaks will probably be close behind. The kit's cheap, just not sure how much labor is. I did my own an it was a bit tricky.
