I thought I had a similar leak but it turned out to be diesel fuel leaking from the metal fuel return line. I have had two of them crack where the metal return line in welded to the mounting brackets. First time on front and second time on rear. The rear dripped off the bottom of the rear of the pump and for quite awhile I just thought it was oil. I don't know why I have been thru two of these lines when no one else seems to have had a problem.

Okay, got the time to take off the fuel selenoid and cleaned it pretty good, nothing really new to find to date. Found the screw I was trying to describe is a lever stop on the back of the govenor housing. This is the only thing that seems to keep unclotted dirt on it. Is there a seal here or anyway for oil to find it's way out from around this screw?
