Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Injection pump shaft size?

Does anyone know if a p7100 pump shaft is the same as a vp44 shaft?



I have heard the p7100 is a 30mm and the vp44 is a 25mm.



I was just wanting a confirmation.

You seem to be talking about the size of the drive gear retaining nuts, not the diameter of the pump shaft taper. Both are larger with the P7100 pump. The nut is 30 mm for the P7100 and 27 mm for the VP44 and CP3 pumps. It is 22 mm for the VE pump.

Well actually I am talking about the taper? I am wanting to fit a tractor p pump and have heard that the vp44 has the correct shaft taper.
