Attention: TDR Forum Junkies can an older VE injection pump be replaced with a newer P7100 pump for more adjustment settings?
Yes... BUT, it will entail significant expense and work in order to work properly and effectively. Also, some parts will need to be hand fabbed from scratch to make this conversion work. In most cases it's cheaper to find a 2nd Gen engine and drop that in rather than struggle with the labour intesive job of alterations/modifications to accomodate the P-pump.
