-We have no delivery valves or racks to mess with.

-We rely on electronics for fuel delivery.

-We know aggressive fueling boxes are hard on the pump.

So, through research & experience, we know injection nozzles:

1) Are producing large power figures.

2) Are easier to drive (smoother application of power).

3) Are easier on the pump (we're not making it work much harder).

In short, we know they are worth the money. But thanks for playing, come back soon. :D

I have been thinking about going over to the dark side [BOMBing ] for a while now. A vendor put a box on at a show just to try out. It felt too ''raggy'' to me. With injectors, the only difference in the fueling curve is more fuel gets in the motor and less fuel gets returned to the tank. I fail to see how this could be harder on the VP44 at all because it is being pumped ''the same'' with stock or larger injectors. This is my understanding of things. If I am wrong, please explain what I am missing.

Okay, I'll bite.

If I was going to waste my money on injectors, would bosch 300 be appropriate?

Or is there something out there that will let me hunt fast volkswagens and slow corvettes, while towing my 21' boat, over grapevine, in a headwind, all while enjoying 21. 37 MPG?

Really though, what injectors are a good choice for all around daily driver, towing on occasion.

Changing injectors isn't the same at the pump, Higher flow rate injectors can translate into less restriction when the vp44 applies pressure to a injector, therefore less strain on vp44.

Pop off pressure on different injectors if lighter will open sooner therefore advancing the timing in effect and altering your fueling curve.

I think F1 Mach 1. 5 EDM's (85HP) are great daily drivers..... More Conservatives choises for towing would be, DD1's from Diesel Dynamics or F1 mach 1 EDM's

Cyborg, opinions vary widly about injectorsbut I'll give you some of my thoughts. Bosch 275's are a good choice especially if cost is a big issue. They don't cost a lot, work great, give you a modest power improvement & can pass for stock. Extrud honed injectors are better. EDM's are best but cost more. For daily driving you probably shoud stay at or below # 2's. I have F1's mach 1. 5 EDM's equal or better power than most #2's & a milage improvemnt also.

I have 275,s from Bullydog in mine and a VA. It didn't help the mileage as some claim but it will sure out pull the stock clutch as I proved going up I 15 out of Butte Mt. the only minor complaint I have is having to wash of the black off the side of the 5th wheeler every 1,500 - 2,000 miles, it gets pretty black along the bottom right side.

What do you guys mean the power of the injectors is "smoother" than a box? I've been thinking about a VA box, but now I'm leaning toward injectors. Better mileage stuff for now. The box's come on hard or what?

Go with the box first

I've run w/ just DDIIs and w/ just the TST PM3 adjustable. Go w/ the box first. IMHO, you get more bang for the buck and alter your power curve much more on the low end than w/ injectors.

However, DDIIs and TST PM3 Adj are real sweet and will pull a house.

As to the first post, NAHHH!!!:D

Happy BOMBing,

Cfast,

A great deal of the time I drive around with just injectors (EDGE Comp shut off) especially in the heat. I would have to agree with... . "injectors have a much smoother feel to the power" than the edge box I had, and the Comp box I now run.

If I had to give up one or the other it would be the box.

If I had a 5 speed there would be no question for me, I would go with stage 2 injectors.

I'm not sure how to answer "The box's come on hard or what?" question...

It's like the power is in harmony with injectors sort of like after a couple glasses of wine. :)

Comp box only is like 4 shots of espresso.

EDM1. 5's and comp on 5x5 is like 6 tequila's and 6 shots of espresso together, buzz'n and belch'n all over the place.

LMAO! With EDM2s and comp 5x5 you can throw in some smokey stock clutch farts with the buzz'n and belch'n lol.

I never turn my box off

I never turn my box off. the power is just too sweet. The only reason I ran w/ just injectors is I screwed up my aftermarket boost elbow and decided to run with the box off until I replaced it.

I tow 17K lb 5th wheel on level 4, run around on level 6, and play w/ Ferds, Chebys and other Dodges on level 9. :D

Whether you buy box or injectors first, you will want the other next. 'Tis the nature of the BOMBing fever.
