Wow... first post in almost 2 years. I can't believe I have been away that long. As for an update... I have about 90k on listed mods and the headgasket finally blew. So I am FINALLY installing the twins I have had kicking around the house for almost 2. 5 years. First off, The primary is a HT3B... should I go with a different turbo and if so... which one? I have to buy that turbo anyways so if there is something that would be better then let me know. And what injectors should I throw in? 2 years ago I was considering those EDM monstors that were nozzles only and were cheap. Thinking to go along the same lines.

Remember I have been out of the loop for 2 years and suspect MUCH has changed since. So before I start dropping dollars I thought I would ask the members their opinion. Thank and good to be back.

If your big turbo is going to be the ht3b what is the little turbo going to be, stock? This is a common set up and one of the ones I'm looking into building. I understand that the BHt3B is a better option, and has a better compressor map. Sorry I can't elaborate more on this subject, but I don't know too much about specific differences. As far as injector sizing and your smaller top turbo, those are really going to depend on how much power you are looking to put down. Its my understanding that keeping an hx35 up top will limit you to about 500hp before you start getting really hot. A lot of guys running the Ht3b on bottom with big sticks like Mach 7's are using an hx40 up top. Hope this answered some of your questions. Know what horsepower you're shooting for will really help you tune your twins and get the proper combination.

The big Schwitzer (sp?) is now popular, the S-400.

You can get a sick hybrid for the secondary, too, like an Industial Injection 64 / 14, based on the S-300 baby Schwitzer. Guys on here LOVE those things. Get this, they sport DUAL wastgate ports and flow more and spool quicker than a comparable sized Holset. The potential sounds kind of exciting with a properly sized and tuned external wastegate.

These S-300 also have these monster common shafts for great durability. A competion set of twins with street manners. I'm talking myself into one.

You talked to me about two different models. As for the 64 / 14, I like it, I just would never run it as a single.

Does'nt sound like a single, sounds like a secondary in a set of twins. :D

You might want to take a look at it unless you are dead set on twins. The new breed of singles are much better. To the point some people are removing twins in favor of them. For me the cool EGT over pretty much the rpm band was a great selling point for me.

Hey Gerald, things have changed you have been up to our shop. I think you need to stop by and discuss this stuff with Lenny or Ross. We have a few tricks up our sleeves! Heh heh heh...

Hey Evan... . Coincidence, I tried calling on Thursday evening to talk to you but the receptionist said you were buried under a truck at the moment. I will try to get in touch on Monday. :)
