Does anyone use injector cleaner with any regularity? If you keep your filters clean do they really get dirty? I put some in just for fun last week but it was running fine at 106,000 miles.

I tried the Siloo (sp?) earlier this year. My brother-in-law is a heavy equipment mechanic and says it helps to start faster and idle smoother. I might have noticed some mileage improvement too, hard to tell. The better it runs, the harder I run it :)

the best thing to do is pull the injectors, buy a copper seal kit, and take them to your local diesel shop. They usually don't charge much and thats the best way to clean your injectors. Real easy to do on a 12v.

I've used Power Service diesel fuel treatment for a while now. Probably the last 20K miles of my stock injectors' life; they looked pretty good when I changed to 215's at about 115K mi. A little sooty, but the nozzle holes were all open & clean. I still put it in at about every other fill-up or so. Runs well and starts right up all the time, regardless of weather or whatever.
