Injector cleaning on gasoline enjine

Any one ever cleaned the injectors on a 2001 Nissan with 1. 8 engine? Have you ever seen the hole where the injector fits into the intake carbon over and stop the injector? Can the computer kill just one injector? Full of questions today, thanks. bg

The reason for this post is I have a friend with a 01 Sentra with 1. 8 L engine. It is missing on #4 cylinder. It has set code which says "misfire on #4 cylinder". We pulled plugs and did compression check, all at 120#. Switched out # 4 plug, no change, switched out #4 ignition coil, no change, pulled injectors and switched out #4, no change. Am dogged off at this point. What meter would be required to see if injector is getting signal. Any comments appreciated. bg

You need a noid light to see if its getting a signal at the injector
