Injector compatable

My slow start problem was lift pump. Did pretty good. Almost 20 years.

While at mechanics I asked him to change injectors. He later told me couldn't because the replacement injectors were 8 hole and my truck used 4 hole.

Hole count doesn’t matter too much, spray angle does.

Is your truck an 04 or 04.5?

03-04 had 8 holes and 04.5-07 had 5.

03-04 spray angle can be used in 04.5-07, but 04.5-07 can’t be used in 03-04. I personally prefer to match spray angle to the pistons, but lots of good reports of 03-04 in 04.5-07 5.9’s.

What are the replacement injectors?

Definitely don't want to use those injectors you have then.
