Iv'e swapped out my injectors 5 times and was thinking that maybe I should change the o rings next time. Do they need to be oiled before you slide them in? And how much should I expect to pay? I looked on the Mopar for less site and couldn't find the part. DWest

Before the last injector change I checked at the local de. . uhhh st. . well dealer, and they would not sell me the o-rings by themselves. They wanted me to buy the complete set of connector tubes. I decided to take my chances and after having at least as many changes as yours on them, they appear to still be working fine. I know that is pushing it though and have been very easy on them. I didnt think of putting oil on them, but that sounds like a good plan.

If someone knows of a good source for them, that would be helpful.

Connector tube removal

When changing injectors I have't had much luck pulling lightly on the tubes to remove the injector. They' ve usually pulled loose. Will they come right out and is there any wrong way to put them back like the injector? DWest

I take small flat head screwdriver and completely remove the tube before pulling the injectors. You can use a valve cover bolt to remove the injectors. When reinstalling the injectors, I make sure they are aligned and seated first and then I install the tubes... just make sure that they seat into the body... you should hear an audible noise when they're seated.
