I got a question from an RV forum member that you guys might be able to answer. Does anyone know the cost of injectors for the '03 Cummins, '03 Duramax and '03 PSD?

A good performance set of nozzles for a 03 Cummins are around a grand +/- $100 depending on the performance level. Last time I checked injectors for a Powerjoke were around 3 grand  . Don't know the price for a Maxipad.

core

If there was no core charge and $1200 was what stage 3 injectors cost, I would buy them tomorrow. I don't like the idea of not having my stock injectors to go back in before I trade or sell. I know I can't afford the core charge.

Runs pretty hot (too hot) with the 3's on the OEM turbo so a new turbo is pretty much mandatory. Muddy says his egt's skyrocket just with 1's and the OEM turbo.

Steve did you mean stock, no core, from dealer or other avenue?? I recall the duramaxs being about 1000 dollars a piece. If this is true. Then the dodge which has a similar fuel system might be comparable. That was dealer price when the technology was new. At least thats what they charged one of their customers after voiding his warranty because they ,key word comming up, SUSPECTED he had used fuel treatments. He denied it wholeheartedly to no avail. Poor feller.

Diesel Dynamics has them...

starting at $800 and going up according to HP rating. They highly recommend their boost module for $300 when adding injectors.

Does anyone know what the maximum boost pressure allowed by the 2003's is? 2nd gens were supposedly wastegated around 20# and without a boost fooler of some kind, an overboost code would be set; at what pressure does this occur on the 2003's?

Both ways would be interesting. Stock, performance and core. Hopefully I'll never have to find out but Murphy's law is unpredictable.
