How many here have had an injector failure that have ran a lubricity addative or bio-diesel in their fuel since day one? I spoke a while back with a guy that worked at a refinery and he said they had to reline pipes or tanks or new pipes or something like that cause they were not suppose to run the new diesel fuel through the old line cause they dont want contamination. I believe we are already getting the 2007 ultra low sulfer diesel or something very close.
When my truck was new I ran Stanadyne additive in every other tank for about the first 12000 miles and since then I have ran it in every tank ( granted I may have missed 1 or 2 tanks ) and I now have over 45000 miles on my motor and never a single motor problem.
I installed an Edge EZ on my 2003 the day after I bought it and ran that cause there was nothing else for the third gens at that time, then when the TST came out I ordered and installed it and still no problems.
