Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injector hookup! Questions though

Ok. My girlfriend works with a guy. His friend owns an auto parts and accessories store.



She tells me the friend can get me injectors for wholesale. I will believe it when I see it!



Anyway, I haven't talked to Ian's friend or Ian directly. He wanted to know what kind I wanted and what delivery rate they needed to be. Not only is this friend of a friend of a girlfriend relaying but she asks me all this over the phone, through text messaging. Can anyone say "CONFUSION!"?



I told her about the Diesel Dynamics and Bullydogs. She said he needed to know a delivery rate for the fuel and I said I have no idea.



I just told her I wanted something well known and not something that is not known or won't even work.



Anyway, when I talk to this guy I will tell him I will only buy heard of brands and from a good source.



I know... Dont worry, I am not trusting anyone in this until I can names and part numbers!

Gas engine injectors are rated in lbs/hr, I bet this is what he's talking about.

Be careful with this stuff Nick. There are some guys out there representing stuff as being name brand but they arent. I had one approach me some time back, almost got me too. Make sure you get ones that are tried and true and buy from someone who knows what they are doing. Wrong spray patterns can mean big trouble in litte china!

I won't do anything until I know his source and I know that they aren't knock offs. I won't fall for any scams and will talk to him in person.



And I am not too trusting. He wanted to know what my injectors deliver the fuel at. That means he is used to gas injectors and probably knows squat about diesel injectors.
