Injector identification

I'm trying to identify the injectors in my truck. They have '9327' on them, and directly below that, 'DELPHI' 'LJC6760522'. I know they have four holes in the tip. They look like they are new.

As far as I know the only Delphi injector is the POD injector. They were orginally Lucas which was bought by Delphi ... or that's as I remember...

Apparently the sound I thought was a knocking is part of the normal engine noise - 230,000+ miles - and I shouldn't be concerned about it. (I feel like an idiot now... )

Those injectors, are in fact Delphi P/N: 6760522.



And "Yes", they are the Lucas/POD injectors.



Casey - The "PO" of that truck ... .....

All these Lucas part numbers, makes me want to go check, which I don't think I can with them in the truck, but check to see what part number is on my POD'S, since I bought them from ebay. Does any one know if Lucas made more than one HP rated injector that fits are heads?

It wasn't too hard to see the 4-digit number that is on the top part of the injector facing the valve cover. The other number is on the injector body right above the large nut that retains it in the head. It took some careful looking at to read those numbers. There are a couple of other posts with Lucas/Deplhi numbers, none were the same as mine, so I'm assuming they make several different injectors that fit our engines.

JD, well thats great. Looks like I'll be looking at them tomorrow and searching the archives for Lucas pn's... If I got screwed no more ebay injectors for me. !

Mine say 9329!!?? 9329 that is. Whats the deal, anyone know what HP rating I have?



Edit: wow the SEARCH feature! Found out the 9329 is what Piers was/is selling and most are/were running. . So back to your 9327's?
