Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) injector info

would like to go with a bigger injector in my 95. putting in the 3k spring kit in the next little while. also have a #10 plate from bd power. Turbo is stock with the wastegate(except for the line restriction)does anyone have any suggestions for my particular setup? Truck is a five speed.

What are your goals with the truck? The reason I ask is that I've got a '95 with a 5 speed that I just put a #4 plate in and am very happy with it. I have been told that I should be at high 200's or low 300's for HP, so if that is your goal then you really don't have to change injectors to get there.



If you're going for more than that or just want to change the injectors then there are several good choices. I have run Diesel Dynamics injectors in another truck and really liked them so I see no reason to believe that they wouldn't work well in this truck.



For a smaller bump in power (but less money) you could try to locate some used injectors out of a 215hp truck and give them a shot.



A good number of people run the "Diamond B" 370 injectors that are for a marine engine, but I understand that while those give big HP numbers they don't have the best spray pattern for our trucks. I'd call Piers and ask about that before making a decision.
