Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I'm setting up my 1/2 ton '85 Ram Prospector (short bed) with a 4BT (VE version). So far I have an HY35W with standard waste gate, two Saab intercoolers for parallel or series operation. I'm looking to change the standard injectors out for something with a more efficient spray parttern i. e. better fuel atomization efficiency. I expect this would give me better fuel mileage numbers ( first priority) and better performance (second priority). Bottom line objective is to get the low end acceleration responce better with the HY35W and 30+ mpg under no load conditions. I can run at 65 mph @ 1750-1800 rpm with my drivetrain setup.
I'm asking for suggestions on whether the Bosch 185's or something else would be my best choice given the above objectives. I don't need any more torque/hp than the HY35W and intercoolers will add but if I get more with better fuel economy that would be great.
