CTD + Crew Cab - who's doin' 'em?

I recently bought a 2007 dodge 4x4 quad cab automatic transmission with a 5. 9 liter cummins. I have heard that they have a quite a few problems with the # 5 and 6 injectors. I am trying to figure out if there is anything that I can do to remedy this problem before something gets torn up. Any ideas?

I am not so sure #5,6 should be singled out. The best upgrade for you to put on your truck, would be a 2 micron fuel filter with a fuel/water separator.

There are several different applications available. I have a frame mounted kit that uses Fleetguard filters, but Caterpillar or Baldwins filters can be substituted.

Fuel contamination, whether water or debris, is what kills our injectors and pumps.

Both Richard at Glacier Diesel Power, and Bryan at Diesel Performance Parts Power Chips Duramax Exhaust Kits Suspension Air Intakes, have aftermarket kits that are very easy to install. I know both individuals personally, they are very helpful, and a wealth of information.
