Well Just left the mechanic. And not to my suppress the injector pump is gone again. Yes I did not even get a year out of it. I only got 3 month so what is making the pump go so fast??? It is starting to drive me NUTS It is now the 5th pump that is getting installed.

is your edge chip a comp? where are you buying your pumps? :( are you buying the pumps build to the latest revision? Is your lift pump working?

man that is terrible luck :(

The 02 ho pumps have a shorter life than other versions :( I have changed many under 40k miles. It is not what you are doing,it is the pump itself.

Bob

I'm Buy the new pumps not the rebuilt ones the lift pump is working it was done at last injector pump yes it is the comp chip. What can be done to make the pumps last longer?? :--)

Find a Bosch shop that builds the vp44 and discuss it with them ;) Some of them care and will fill you in.

Bob

well i did go to one of the shops out here and talked to them of what can be done to fix it and all they can tell me is to buy a new truck. well why did'ent I think of that!!!!! It is one tuff truck when it runs properly :)

KDoerr, I have a few question for you. Do you run a additive all the time? Where do you run your comp? How about fuel pressure gauge do you have one? Do you have a stock fuel system? if not what mods to it? Thanx

yes i Run additives and no fuel pressure gauge yet but soon. I add injector cleaner every second day and also gelling because up here we are having temps around -30. C. the reason I add it so much is because in a mouth I drive about 16,000-20,000 km :)

Getting the restriction out of fuel system might help. Having a fuel pressure gauge is a MUST. Since you have more power I'd be addressing this issue right away.

Stanidine is a real good additive to add at every tank too.

ya i'm going to get a fuel press. gauge this time. so you think that the pumps are always going because of the filter i have in front of the trans. pump?

Just the whole POS fuel system that dodge built lots of restriction.
