Injector Question HO vs Stock

My question is this:

Is there a difference in the injectors used in a 2001. 5

H O CTD engine and the injectors used in a 1999 CTD engine??





A good friend of mine put a set of DDIIs in his truck which is a 2001. 5 H O and another good friend has a 99 3500 that could stand alittle BOMBing

I am thinking about changing them just to see if there is a difference. Changing injectors is so easy, I may just do it.

With all the folks out there reading this site I am sure someone has done the swap already.

From what I understand, the ETH injectors are actually smaller than the ETC injectors, so there would be no gain in placing them in the '99. Better bet for the '99 would be a set of 275 injectors or the Edge EZ ( better yet, both ). Of course, that costs a few $$$, but the install of the ETH injectors won't do much if anything for the '99 IMHO.

I agree with Scott, it really should cost the 99 a small amount of HP to have the ETH injectors in it.

It was just a thought that we were pondering, over a few Coors Lites, after the work was done. Of Course.



We plan on installing gauges first, then BOMBing the Transmission, afterward upgrading the engine.
