So this 98 24 valve just bought has an edge juice with attitude chip and 220 injectors would it better to put stock injectors in for fuel mileage? Right now running empty chip on setting two or three only getting 14 mpg and this is driving nice and easy not blowing smoke and staying out of the throttle.

My 01 24vHO had 80hp injectors with an Edge juice. It was a little too much. I would suggest going back to genuine Bosch RV 275s for the best compromise between fuel mileage and performance.

Is this highway or around town ?. Strictly highway my 99 gets 21 with no load, around town 13-14 with all the stop and go. Mixed is around 17. All of this is with the fueling box set on 3 sublevel 5. The DDUFM box is adjustable from 0 thru 5 sublevel 5.

This is a mixture of town and hwy just filled up again and it was 16.5 this is after new fuel filter and oil change and I turned the box down to level 2 . I really don't need or want lots of power or smoke I load em heavy if you've seen the loads I pull I've posted pics before . What I want is the best mpg possible and I'm not afraid to a shift down a couple holes to pull a hill it really doesn't hurt my feelings if somebody out pulls me . So would stock injectors be a better choice

What is your gear ratio? I have 4.10s on mine with comp on 2x2 and rv275s and avg 16mpg, hardly ever better than that. I think if you had a higher ratio you should get better but mpg sounds right for low rears

I'm confused as to the injectors you have. Are they +220HP injectors? Those would be way overkill with a stock turbo and I'd be afraid of towing anything heavy with that set up. In that case you would be much better off going back to stock, but if I had to buy a set I would buy a nice mild injector like the RV 275 or perhaps up to a +60HP injector. My mileage with my RV275s increased ever so slightly over stock assuming the same driving, and the bump in power is a nice bonus.

I agree RV 275 are a good mild upgrade, good power and mpg. On mine I'm getting 14.2 while pulling a 27 foot TT that weights about 6k.

The RV 275 hp injectors are the classic choice for better power and mpg compared to stock. Typically they give 1.5 mpg better, 33 hp on 5 speed engines, 42 on HO, 50 on automatics.

Running 235 75 16 rears runs 65 mph at just under 2000 rpm

It will take a bit of work but it may be a good idea to pop the valve cover one day when you have some down time and pull one of them to get some numbers off of it and see how many holes are in the tip. That way you will know what you have. It would be a good idea to have a spare o ring and perhaps a crush washer handy sometimes the o rings become brittle if they have been in there a long time.

Do you know what you have for a turbo?

I get 19-20 at 65. 15 around town and 11.5-12.5 towing at 20k plus combined. Details in Sig. Banks exhaust brake is the 4" one. Snoking

There should be a data plate on the turbo with the manufacture. Pictures may help if you can't find the plate

My truck is a dually flatbed weighs 9360 empty

That bed must be HEAVY!. GVW for a 3500 2x4 is 10,500 and 4x4 is 11,000. It looks like your a 4x4? If so, you've only got 1640 lbs available payload compared to the 4900 you should have in factory form. That puts your bed over 3k lbs.

Yes sir that bed is heavy!! You could load a d7 cat on it if it would fit makes the truck sit on the overload springs . I'll look for the data plate on the turbo and also post some pics .
Thanks for all yer help.
