injector # question

O. K. heres the deal, my buddy works at a case dealer and they are finally coming out with 24-valve engines in their equipment. We are wondering what kind of injectors are in them and if they would work in my truck. The case # for the injector is J944200. They list the engine as 6TAA-5904. Can any of you part # experts help me out and see if these injectors will work or if they are worth the trouble. They are very cheap, that's why I am curious. Thanks for any and all help.

That's a good question. How about the 12v's? The CNH dealer is closer for me than the Cummins dealer. Don't mess my Dodge dealer much. They have to order almost all of the engine replacement parts, except for thermostats.

what hp rating?

what is the hp rating on these tractors seems to me the highest hp rating might be 250 or less even in the bigger tractors. Any bigger and I think they would go to the ISC? I am not sure but I am curious also.

I would almost say the injectors would be smaller than what your looking for. Some of the higher HP engines found in farm machinery like Gleaner's new R75 Combine (one of the biggest on the market) uses a Cummins M11 that is rated at 330HP. But then again you never know what you'll find once you start diggin'.
