Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injector Questions

I just replaced my VP with a rebuilt stock pump. The company i got it from said its 245hp which is stock,i guess???? now if i install new 275 hp injectors, will i get 275 hp? or will the pump limit me at 245 hp?

1st, fill out your signature so we know what your setup is, transmission mods etc... .





Teh 245HP pump only came with the 6 speed HO. If that is what you have, RV275's will net you a little over 275RWHP. If you have the 235HP pump your HP will be about 25 less.

You'll gain power. The 245 is with stock injectors. You'll eventually hit a limit of the pump, but not for a few hundred horse. I'm sure somebody will go into further detail if you want.

Well we know for sure that a stock ETC pump will support over 830 RWHP :-laf
