Mr Jack Daniels has got to have something to do with it.

Actually I have a set of there injectors, the 200hp EDM's they ran great.

Ran a little hot with a stock turbo, but ran great.

My MHO, best combo, smarty-tst 3-275rv's.

You will be all over the 400hp mark and still be able to turn off the tst and still have a killer gauge package.

Lug

When does it lug in 3rd? Town driving sometimes it will go into O/D, put I put it in 3rd and I'm all set.

Nate,I was referring to lugging in 3rd when I have a low speed corner to go around,coupled with a steep uphill grade. My truck is hesitant to kickdown without an abrupt pedal push. I probably just need to do that. As soon as the rpm's go up no smoke problem. I'm signed up for a Smarty loaner. I've used one for a few hrs. and was mighty impressed. I need to use one for a few days.

There's a fellow that has some Mach 1. 6s on the classifieds. I shot him a note a few days ago, no repsonse. Same thing for an ATS exhaust manifold I found.



I told myself that is just the Lord telling me I don't need to spend more money on the truck.

RE: mach 1. 6 classifieds, I think he has them for the 12valve, I contacted him looking for some injectors, and they won't work for me.



I wanted to go 100HP injectors, but don't know if it will be too much smoke. I have the juice, 2001 HO 6spd and a con-ofe, and a pdr35 waiting to be installed once I get a set of injectors in... I really want to see how much a it will bring EGT down after I swap from my 54mm CA Emission wheel. My friend has a comp and an auto, mine smokes much more than his when I am on it.



would 100HP and 1x1 box be controllable, or should I look for rv275's

max towing is 12k, mostly around 6k.

I didn't realize injectors were different for 12v or 24v. Good info to know.



I was thinking last night, while I would love to juice up the truck more, I bought the Smarty with money I didn't have, air bags, etc... In other words, I have a fairly hefty credit card bill right now. I also have the loan on my truck, trailer and another from a lawsuit I settled.



With the high fuel costs and my slim Air Force paycheck, I don't have very much left over after I take care of the monthly bills.



I may just hold off for a while and keep an eye out for deals on here or eBay.

A member posted 291rhp and 650+ torque with stock sticks and Smarty. That's pretty darn good. Pay your debt down. With the EZ,DD2's and DTT auto,My best run was 300hp and 643 tq. Smarty's pretty efficient! Thanks for serving.

To bring this back, how does Smarty, TST (60hp one) and a set of RV injectors sound?



Will that be an ok combo with keeping the stock turbo and being able to tow without crazy EGTs?

I have a set of Bully Dog 40hp injectors and edge in my 99 and love the combo! It's great for towing, messing with the ricers, etc. ! My stock clutch even lasted till 185k miles! And I definately don't go easy on the loud pedal! If you are still looking for injectors let me know and we can work something out for my 40hp ones. I'm looking to go bigger soon.



PS I work for a bunch of retired AF people... so I know all about the $$ woahs... .
