Time to check injectors and 'true' TDC.

What's the 'trick' to removing injectors? Assume after 230,000 miles they may be stuck.

Should "anti-sieze" be used when replacing?

trick

screw a nut on new ones then take it and put a six inch or so

bolt on the nut then put a 2 or 3 inch slide pipe one the bolt

and a washer on end

screw whole thing onto injector end and hightly swack up the

pipe to the end of the bolt like a inpact slide hammer

i made one for under 5 bucks will not take much slideing they

will come out because of the inpact not the pressure you

pullon them

I made my puller with a metric lug nut, 14. 5 by 1. 25 I think but check it to be sure. Screw a six in bolt into the lug nut part way leaving enough to screw onto the injector and with a socket or wieght of some kind to slide up and down the bolt it works well. I had some old wheel weights and melted them into a muffin tin and then drilled a hole in the lead and it makes a great weight

hardware store has it all 5.00

hward store has already made 3inch metal pipe

i bot 2 sizes and put one into the other

4 extra weight , 2 pipes , nut, bolt washer

cost 5. 00 made in 3 minutes

I made a puller as described in the other posts. I found that I used 2 different sizes to get around the cross over pipe from the turbo to the intake. I also used anti-sez on the injector threads.
