Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Injector replacement??

With as popular as the 12v's are I would have expected more information.



I was looking for info on changing injectors on a 95, but there's hardly any info for these trucks...

Nevermind... Nothing came up with just a 12v search but I got some leads on a whole site search.

use one of your lug nuts and a small pickle fork prying off the head bolts. change all your coppers.

Thanks guys, I got 'em done. More of a PITA than I was expecting though. I guess I'm just spoiled. I can get my 24v done in an hour and a half.

First time I did mine took me @ 2 hours. I put some used DD3's I got from a buddy in Saturday and it took me 5 hours!



One of the used DD3's had a burr on the threads and it messed up one of my line nuts. After running around hunting a tap I finally just took a dremel to it and got the nut where it would go on. Had to remove and re-install the injector lines and return line 3 times and remove and swap 2 of the new injectors but finally got it done.



Now to save up for a clutch. Those DD3's turned it into a slipper!
