I'm sure someone has asked before I just can't find it.

My question is should I get 215's or 300's Injetors for my 95. I plan on moving the plate but I have one weak injector (at least thats what I tell my better half) and I want to up grade the injectors first. Can any one tell be what the benifit or drawback is of eather.

Thanks in advance.

I'm asking myself the same question. IMO I think I'm going to 370's right off the bat. That way I'm never wondering, "what if".

It also depends on what you are trying to accomplish with the truck.

Unless you get a deal on some smaller ones, I'd go with as big of an injector as you feel comfortable with.

RCMC,

Forget about the 300's. They don't work well in a Dodge application.

If you go with the 370's you will need to change your delivery valves too. Not a big deal. Around town milage may drop a little. Smoke on a cold startup is common too with the 370's.

The 370's will give a big time power increase, meaning your transmission will probably not like it. You may need to adjust your AFC to cut back on low boost smoke (easy). I'm not sure how 370's work with a stock torque plate.

The 215's are more user friendly. They shouldn't smoke. You could get by without a delivery valve change (I would recommend it anyway. High Performance delivery valves make a huge difference) & your mileage wouldn't suffer. Figure on a 40hp, 80 ft lbs. torque increase with the 215's.

Like Cooker said, It all depends on how far you want to go with the truck. 99% of us want MORE power after a simple upgrade. #ad

RCMC- I have the 215 injectors installed by Piers and am very happy withy them. See my signature to see what else I"ve done. My truck works very well and I am not going to bomb any more. Dont want to sacrifice longivity for power. The 215 injectors work very well with the other mods I have made.

Hemi,
I have heard from other too that the 300's are not suited well for our trucks. What's the reason for this?

Thanks

The "correct" 370s will give about 8 more hp than the DD3s, according to a post by Joe D. The 300s increase power at certain rpms, very little at others and does not provide a huge increase in power all the way from low to high rpms like the 370s.

"Me Like SMOKE" as they say smoke dosen't bother me. Would I need to change my Delevery valves right away??

Thanks

I just ordered a set of 215's and they should be here early next week.

Now I just have to find the size of that homemade puller. .

Thanks for all your help
