Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injector supply line question...

Had the injectors and VP44 replaced a month ago... one of the lines at the head was leaking slightly... we just snugged it up some (and checked the rest)... was that correct? The line was definitely loose, as was another (not leaking though)...



I tightened it like I did for my 3rd gen, and then realized there was no extra nut for the crossover tubes. The reason I'm asking the question...

Thats all it takes sometimes. They probably just werent tightened correctly. I wouldn't worry anymore as long as there aren't any other leaks. Any pressure gauge?

The early build 24v's had non re-usable connector tubes. you didn't specify what year the truck was.

It is a 99...



Tightening them seemed to stop the seeping... it wasn't a real leak, just a seep and only enough to keep them wet.
