I'm thinking of swapping out my 275's for some Mach 1's. A couple of people thought that it might help with the smoke and still keep the power I want. I was wondering if anybody had done this and how it worked out the way I would like. I would like not to have to clean the smoke off the trailer everyday, and don't want to get into EGT problems. Any information would be helpful on making my mind up.

Try revving engine higher and easy throttle

This really isn't answering your question but, you can't hardly beat the towing setup you have. I would propose this: Make sure you have high-flow air filter (K&N, AFE etc... ), ease into the throttle on take off and shift between 2500 and 3000 rpms.

Hope this helps.

Wiredawg has a good suggestion there. I'm running the mach 1. 5's. They burn very clean. I see no smoke at all above 10 psi boost. Below that, smoke can be made but a careful roll of the throttle keeps it clean.
