The last item I wanted on my checklist to complete before I started BOMBing was to have the Injector Timing checked/set and the Idle speed set correctly. My questions are:

What the stock timing supposed to be on my 97 12v?

What should I have it set to, assuming I am going for some BOMBing within the next 6-12mo?

Does having it advanced a degree or so, hurt a stock engine in the mean time?

I think stock is 11 or 11. 5. Mine is at 14. 5 and I really like it. It's safe to advance 4 degrees at this altitude anyway. There's been several threads about timing and I think the concensus is 14. 5 - 15. 5 degrees. Craig
