Who are you guys using these days? I know that I've been AFK alot in the last couple of years.

I remember back when I sent my injectors to F1, they were all the rage ... ... ... . I also remember that it was like pulling teeth to get them there, but Bob Wagner did the job for me then.

Now with over 500,000 miles and needing a touch up, Bob Wagner could care less and none of the other distributors return calls either. I sent Bob 2 emails that he ignored and when I called he was like "yeah, what do you want"?

So what gives? I had to go with 50hp DDP injectors because they were the only ones who seemed to care.

I scheduled downtime, I contacted my mechanic and Bob Wagner a few weeks ahead of time to minimize cost in my downtime since I pull for a living. I literally scheduled a month of downtime in August back in July. Everybody was ready but Bob Wagner and F1 Diesel.

At any rate, my old F1 injectors flowed less than stock, leaked and were needing replaced or rebuilt, so I went with the honed injectors from DDP because I really had no choice.

I remember when DonM used to be a poster, he was arrogant and offended alot of people, but I bought into his theory. Being a machinist for over 20 years I understand the difference between EDM on blanks and AFM on stockers.

At any rate, as a return customer, or any customer, I'd have expected a better response then "yeah, what do you want" ... ... ... ... thanks Bob!

Bob, you said that there was a 2 week backlog, and I said "that's okay, I'm calling 2 weeks ahead". You said, "I'll get his schedule and get back with you" ... ... ..... that's the last I heard of you. On TOP of the the 3 emails I sent you that you read and never responded to.

I used to respect you, now I don't, and that's sad. If you have other issues in your life, that's fine. However, don't hang your shingle as a diesel expert, it gives people a bad taste and can potentially cost people money.

Don at F1 is swamped right now. Trust me I know how you feel. I've been waiting on injectors for 2 months now. I had 3 bodies that were cracked, and found out that I had to replace them with the new stainless steel bodies they are using in the 6. 7's. Ouch, that was expensive. I'm finally getting my truck back next week. Sorry to hear about the situation with bob.

Industrial injection can take care of your injectors no problem!

Bob took a couple days off last week. (or was it the week

before?) In an effort to assist, I had him forward his calls to

us. Handle your load ? Sure I thought. Piece of cake. I had 3 people on

staff here "attempting" to handle his phone load. Attempting being

the key word, as we STILL had overload going to voice mail. Prior to

this experience (forwarding) I wondered how he did it all. After

seeing/hearing/feeling the load, I knew he COULD'T be doing it all,

as it was a full load for 3 good people.

F1 has been in "back order" status for weeks, (feels like months).

I'm convinced the same scenario is true there. How many folks are

there repairing cr injectors ? Sure, just excuses. No excuse is a

good excuse for poor customer service. My guess is that both these

guys are giving EVERYTHING they've got, sometimes though, it just

ain't enough.....

I understand being busy, I've had to turn away work for many years. I've been self employed since 1995. I managed a machine shop from 1990 until 1995, then I owned one until 2005. Since 2005 I've owned a horse transport company.

But, poor customer service is still poor customer service. I gave plenty of notice and simply never got a return message from email or voicemail. When Bob did answer the phone, he acted like I was an intrusion.

Once bitten, twice shy :(
