Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injector-Turbo question

TDR community:

What would you consider to be the largest injector I could run without having to swap out my current HX35. I want to keep it driveable. Is it possible to achieve 400hp without mods to it? Would an upgrade to the wastegate be needed? I'm looking at getting injectors, Fass (TD08-95G) and an Edge box, but don't want to send the EGT through the roof. I know eventually a SB clutch will be needed at some point. I will be occasionally towing a 10K lb. 5ver too. Truck is all stock, except for Mega Cannon air filter, 5" exhaust, and gauges. Already on VP44 #2 thanks to the lift pump. Changed that with an Airtex. 88,000 miles on it.

I had a set of Diesel Dynamics Stage II in my truck for a long time with an Edge Comp on my stock HX-35. Initially skip the box and get some injectors, you'll be amazed how it wakes the truck up. I did the box first and after getting injectors I wished I had done it much sooner. Check the classifieds or E-Bay for used injectors. I bought my first set for $200.

I suggest not much more than a 40-60 Hp increase with the stock turbo. You can use a boost control elbow to get more boost, but that will only help egt's somewhat.
