Injector Under valve cover wiring harness

So while in the process of changing out my head studs I found my injector wiring harness under my valve cover to have insulation striped and cracking on the yellow wire. Is this gunna cause me issues down the road? What am I in for?

That's not what I want to hear on a young truck... ... My guess is if the harness shorted out... running issues

Yes, replace the valvecover gasket and harness...
