Ok the new injectors sounds great, what other add ons do you have, and would I benefit from those new injectors. Also what about heat ? The Hp your getting from the PW injectors would do it for me, but I can always use more POWER #ad

1985 DODGE 1 ton Crew Cab(imported from California with no rust) W/8' box converted to 4X4 in 1999. Converted to a non-intercooled 1991 Cummins Turbo diesel & 5 speed Getrag in 2000(wife can't drive a stick . Freshly rebuilt and balanced Cummins. Rebuilt Injector pump and tweaked. 4:10 gears, limited slip rear end, 205 transfer case, 16" Goodyear GSA Wranglers and LE Package and a Sony CD Stereo. Next add-on some “Banks” toys ! Wish Dodge would build a new Crew Cab in 1 ton. Last year for the Crew Cab was 1985. If you want to know why I did all of this, 2 kids, one on the way and I can't stand Ford and Chevy. Sounds good to me i like the sound of 40 psi but what are youre egt readings ? If the egt's are controlable I'd be very interested!!! Keep on BOMBING Murfman
Hello everyone I just got back from BD on saturday,after testing the Lucas injectors that Piers found. All I can say is WOW these are 10 times better than the PW's. I now get 40 lbs of boost on flat ground with no trailer. My truck had 242HP and 610torque on the dyno the way I had it with the PW's. We could not do a comparison on the dyno with the new injectors due to the optical rpm sensor failing after the first dyno run. The difference in power is huge though. I would say that I'm around the 290hp and 750torque range.
The egt's are higher than with the Pw's,and to do any towing a intercooler would be a must,I do not have one yet. The highest I've seen the pyro is 1275 pre turbo,thats in 5th holding it to the floor going up hill. And they do smoke a little. As far as mods Look at my signature. Timing is at 1. 65mm.
While I was at BD they also installed the stock 89-91 injectors. They ran better than the PW's,and made more boost. 35psi verses 32psi with the pw's. Piers said the stock 89-91 injectors make about 20 more HP than the PW's.
