I just received my guages, AFE intake and Mag-Hytec Double Deep transmission pan. Once I install these options, I'm looking to add the ATS exhaust manifold, a Piers HX35W hybird turbo and injectors. I tow a 15k 5th wheel and want to keep my egt's down while adding some power at the same time, so I'm considering the DD stage 2 injectors, but wondering if any one has any experience with the Bosch 300 hp marine injectors.

Welcome to the TDR. You have the right idea by starting w/gauges and transmission temp control. Also, you may want to update your signature in the User Control Panel so that everyone can see your truck specs.

I've got the DDII's in my '96. Even with the 3K GSK and a #10 plate I have a hard time hitting over 1100* pre-turbo towing 5000lbs. up the Western Washington mountains. That's with a stock HX-35. Granted you'll be puting more of a load on it with the 5vr. Piers' stuff is great, but you may not need the hybrid for just DDII's. I would either wait until your current turbo gives you problems or upgrade to a PDR-40 when more fuel arrives, because it always does :)

Hope this helps

when u put bigger injectors in u SHOULD bump the pump timming up ur egt will go down and will loose a little bottom end but gain a lot more top actualy read the FAQs and look under pump timming and it will tell u what is involved

Do yourself two favors. 1. Talk to the folks at PDR as they will not steer you wrong. 2. Stay away from 300's, either buy 215, 370's or DD's and you won't go wrong.
