I just installed the Poweredge EZ w/ boost elbow and I am still drooling. Just wondering what kind of kick in the A** going to Stage II injectors will give me. Can I expect the same kind of results as the EZ? If so, the drool may turn into a foam. In all my years playing with hot rods and race cars, I never would have thought I could have this much fun with a stinkin' ole deezal!

get the DDIII's and you'll be slobbering foam--
add the Power Edge box and you'll be spittin'foam & your EGT's will climb when you hammer it when on the #3 setting & a little more manageable on the #2 setting
add the HX40 & 4" exhaust and you'll be fully rabid... ... ... chris

I wouldn't add anymore power until you address the transmission issue.

But DDII's and EZ are 299hp to the ground on a Mustang dyno.

I've got to agree with Chris and Eric.
The injectors make as big a diff as the EZ... . The PE is a whole different story... Once you go past the EZ, your AT will be wheezing, big time, if you put it to the wood very often..... With just the EZ, it will last for quite a while..... Get the transmission upgrades, even on a stock truck, they make a world of difference... . As far as which injectors, think about the smoke issue, before you make the jump... . #ad

thanks guys for bailing me out--totally overlooked Bent6's sig--on the transmission upgrade, ya got to do it just like KD & CC said or your slobberin',spittin' will be replaced with tears as that thing will turn to mush with all that power--thanks again KD & CC---chris

My bad guys! Forgot to mention the planned transmission upgrades before anything else. I can tell with just the EZ that the stock TC clutch will turn to dust in no time.

I have the DD2's and the EZ with my DTT VB.
This thing flat hauls a#$!
My Dyno numbers bear out that PSD's and Dura Maxi-pads don't want to mess with my 3500.
However, If they are also 'chipped', you should go with DD3's and a Hot PE!

Don't forget DC will void your warranty on the whole truck. Experience again!! haveing too much experience sometimes sucks.

They cannot legally 'void' your warranty unless they can 'prove' the failure(providing you have one)can be directly attributed to your aftermarket modifications.
Our 5. 9L 24valve Cummins engines are an awesome machine, capable of tremendous upgrades(ask H. V. A. C. )
However, if they really wanted to, they could even 'void' your warranty for not letting your 'turbo' cool down after driving it!(They have the higher paid Laywers, you know. )
Anyway, I think the congressional 'ACT' is called the 'Magna-Carta' or something like that #ad

Robby- that's what I thought too. But, it doesn't work that way. DC can and will void your warranty. Maybe if you have a good dealer you could get away with things, but if they're ignotant or just plain jerks the warranty will be gone. I know from experience. I suppose I could ahve taken them to court, but for the thousands that'd cost it wouldn't be worth the repair. BTW, it was for an injector pump. I had Cummins put one in and it's ran great ever since.

I thought I had a great dealer too, they even suggested I put in after market injectors, then they voided the warranty on my whole truck not just the engine. Everyone says they can not do that but they did. If people give you the good advice that DC can not void your warrany then these same people should help you fight DC's warrany issues. Sorry but on this one your on your own as I have found out the hard way. Only good thing that came out of this is it reinforced my feelings about dealers of any kind and big company's. I have the ability to do mechanical work on my own and V-W Motors of Cooperstown ND will never get another dollar from me. I will buy after market and none name brand parts when ever possible. This truck had better last me a long time because I will never buy another Mopar product. The thing that gets me the most is I was a very loyal patronage to mopar and when I needed them the most they they left me to hang. Sorry for my venting but had to let somebody know.

With 95000 miles on my truck, the warranty is about to be a thing of the past - being a drag racer, I am used to being my own warranty station - BELIEVE ME!

I think all three (GM, DC, and Ford) are pretty much the same when it comes to warranty work. I saw several posts on www.ford-diesel.com about how ****** the owners were at Ford for doing lousy work and voiding their warranty. Many said they would never buy another Ford product.

If you plan on bombing, then you need to be you own warranty station.
