This past weekend I installed 275's on Saterday afternoon. After many tries the truck would not start. Sunday morning we tried again, no start. Then we came up with the idea, tear it down and start over to make sure everything was installed correctly. The second install only took about half the time. Still no start. Now I am starting to get worried, maybe I didnt know what i was doing, maybe I broke something, maybe the injectors are bad? We then come up with another idea, put the stock injectors back in. You know third times the charm. The Truck fired first time after bleeding the lines.

My problem now is I dont have the injectors I wanted under my hood, but they are in the shop. I have called, and I will send them back.

I just need advice. One thing is for sure after 3 installs in 2 days it sure is easy now.

thanks

I would be sure that they were installed with the fuel feed hole in the proper direction. Also I would try bleeding the fuel lines, you can crack # 2 and #4 and bleed them off pretty well. I find this much easier than bumping the lift pump. Just some ideas.....

I installed the injectors then uninstalled each one twice. the fuel feed holes were in the correct place. The fuel feed lines were pushed in for each. I bled the injectors from lines 1, 3, 4, and 5 one at a time. Is there any more suggestions.

The place where i bought the injectors has been working with me so as of this point I do not feel comfortable releasing their name.

Did you try bumping the starter?

And if you did, did the fuel press come up for about 5 sec's?

I bumped my starter 3 times and it fired right up, gave it a little throttle and it smoothed out

Yes I did bump the starter 4 times. nothing. And they are going to send me a new set or money.

It just seems to me they had to be a bad set of injectors.

I was sent a new set of injectors. Installed them today, the truck started right up. They told me that the other set had two injectors with carbon blocking them. Thanks for every thing guys. By the way I do like the new injectors.
