Okay I have a 2006 Ram 2500 with an automatic and it has about 140k, this is my first diesel, but not my first experience with turbos. Other than the k&n air filter it appears stock in the power-train. I'm looking to get recommendations for brands of injectors, turbo, and programmer. I'm not wanting to go crazy with rolling smoke just want to have a little more power and not loose lots of fuel mileage. Looking for recommendations on equipment combinations and even some recommendations on other parts that I should replace or upgrade.

Thanks in advance for your recommendation

My two cents...trash the K&N and go to a 4" pleat paper filter from fleetguard or wix. Look to BBi for injectors, EFI live or Smarty for tuning, Turbo Resource for turbo upgrades. Add some additional fuel filtration too, I went with Glacier Diesel but any additional filtration is good.

I also have a 2006 and have done a bunch of mods. I would definitely recommend the Stage I (or II) turbo from Tom at Turbo Resource. Best mod I have made. A Smarty (either JR if you keep stock injectors, or "Senior" if you get BBi injectors). If you live at altitude, I would keep stock injectors - but the BBi's are very good injectors and you can get Stage 0.5 now I believe. Remember if you go with much more power you need to think about trans upgrades (next on my list of things).

x2 on the upgraded fuel filtration. I did both the Mopar Severe Duty Kit and the GDP kit.
