:{ Ok I read the injectors thread and I am confused again. I want 500-700 hp so where do I go ?. Do I buy the stage 2 injectors add a single with the stock fuel in my 2004. 5 3500 ( I have a edge and attitude with the 5" exhaust ), or do I buy a set of twins and a stage 3 injector or stage 2 injector and add a different fuel pump ?. You guys that are running it where is the most reliaible platform for the engine say 500, 600, 700 hp for daily driver towing ?

Once you break the 500-550 HP class any single will run extremely hot IMO Twins are the only way to run past this level reliably on #2 only, What are you going to be doing with the truck?

My current setup is extremely reliable and at 500hp. I want to go higher for competition... but $$$$ (may have to wait. . AGAIN. . until I can afford it!). I was all good to go and then all the fueling improvements the last year and a half... now more $$$ to be competitive. That's racin'!

But extremely happy with this setup and the power it makes.

Twins are the most reliable long term solution for the 500-600hp range in a tow vehicle and daily driver (but twins are expensive). You can get into the 500-600 range with a single and sacrifice with some lag on the low end then upgrade later. Build it right and you can even get a bigger single you can use as one of your twins when you're ready to upgrade.

IMO -- You don't need an upgraded CP3 or rail unless you want to get over about 550 -- and you don't need injectors unless you are increasing rail pressure and want more then about 550.

I'm o'ringed with upgraded studs and head gasket because I'm paranoid... and make 60lbs of boost easily and regularly. Stock it should hold that; but as soon as I get around to adding some more fuel it'll be at 80-100 and gasket popping time on a stocker.

Meanwhile; darn happy with my over-built daily driver! :-laf

I dont think anyone can argue this. Good advice BM!

Yep what they all said, remember a range of power like 500-700 hp is HUGE. I bet it is less expensive to go from stock to 500hp than it is to go from 500hp to 700hp, especially when reliability is in the equation.
