Hi, i am thinking of trading my truck in for a new one and i have a question to ask you all. I currently have bully dog 120 injectors and a comp box, and i want to know if i take the comp off when i go to trade it in will cause any problems? I know that the comp acts as a boost foolerl, will that be a problem with the injectors if i take it off? I have heard that without a box, the injectors with trip the over boost code and the check engine light will come on. Is this true and if so is there another way to get a boost fooler so i can keep my box? thanks corey:confused:

With injectors alone the ecm defuels to keep boost levels within factory specs. So it probably will not throw an overboost code. However hp will not be as high as if you had a box that bypassed the boost levels set by the ecm. If you got more fuel you need the air for the power.

Why are you trading it in with the injectors?

If you are just giving the injectors to the dealer, I'll swap you some stock injectors for them :)

And what about the boost elbow? The box is the fooler, but it's the boost elbow that allows it to have more boost then stock.

Don't let the injectors go with the truck! It may swing up so fast that it could set a code.

Also, I have some one who needs those injectors!

What do you need /want for them?

I'm trading the injectors in with the truck because the dealer said that he will make a note of them being in there so i will get more for her. I don't fully beleive that but you never know, also i am having second thoughts of getting a new one. I have one other question now is that with the boost elbow that came with the comp will it cause any problems without the comp? I lost the original one.

Corey, Haisley machine has a boost fooler you just plug into your map sensor. I just put one on my truck. It's a 5 min job at the most. The price was $69. Hope this helps. Jeff
