Hello fellow diesel brethren.

My question is, how well do new injectors work with an edge box. I have a 1999 2500 with an auto trans. I purchased the basic edge box that increased the HP to I think about 65 at the wheels. Or at least that is what was advertised. I was thinking about adding new injectors as well. Do these work well with the box or will it even make a difference. I hear the 275 HP injectors are good to use with a stock trans.

Does anyone have any suggestions that might help guide me before I make a purchase?

Thanks

Adding any injector with a box will kill your transmission, yes if you drive it like a little old lady going to church then it will live but whats the idea of putting in larger injectors if you can not play with them!

Fix up the transmission first then instead of the 275's put in some threes or larger and have fun, or if you tow stay with stage 2 injectors unless you do other mods to keep your EGT's down.

Well said. . . I have a 99 also, got the Edge Card, 80hp injectors, had ATS Performance do the transmission & exhaust mainfold. Reliance Truck & Auto is doing the 4 inch exhaust today. If you do the injectors, you'll notice the difference. . . so will your transmission.
