I was just at the Cummins parts counter recently and asked them how much their 370 injectors cost. The guy at the counter said they were only about $25 each, plus a $5 core charge. He also said they have 400 HP injectors. What is the difference between Cum mins injectors and all of these "aftermarket" 370 injectors other than the apparent markup? Has anyone used the off the shelf Cummins injectors? Any issues? I have almost 500K miles on my stock Cummins injectors so I am definitely pleased with the quality.

Any replies welcome.

Thanks,

Brad

That sounds really cheap to me... I'm worried that you're not going to end up with a complete injector for that price...

I do know that the 370's you buy from Piers are all balanced and ready to rock. If you bought injectors from Cummins... they'll just be 'within spec' and you won't end up with a matched set...

There are something like 25 - 30 different #'s for the 370's, get the wrong ones and you won't gain a thing and could damage your engine. Get your injectors from a reputable source Piers #1.
